St. Joseph’s Hospital plays an invaluable role in providing elder care. As we all age, it’s crucial to ensure that our loved ones receive the support and resources they need to live comfortably and with dignity. Contributing to St. Joseph’s means investing in a compassionate future for our elders, ensuring they receive the care they deserve. The event Taste of Guelph is not only a fantastic cause but also a highlight for food lovers. This outdoor event features a vibrant mix of culinary delights from various food vendors, community spirit and great food. We love food.
We proudly support Mask Off, a charity dedicated to mental health and wellness. Mental health affects everyone, and we often don’t know what someone is facing day-to-day. Mask Off works to remove the stigma around mental health and provides essential resources for those in need. They also support The Grove, a community hub where students and young people can find a safe space, talk to someone, or just hang out. By supporting Mask Off, we’re helping ensure everyone’s mental well-being is prioritized.
We love supporting the Junior Gryphons because they play a vital role in the development of young children. Many kids attend their camps, and I have a personal connection from my own childhood. I was a camper and later a camp helper, and I also played basketball with the young Gryphons. Giving back to the Junior Gryphons means helping kids get the gear they need to feel confident, whether they’re on the court, the ice, or the field. It’s our way of giving back to an organization that gave so much to us. These programs keep kids active, engaged, and out of trouble, especially during busy summers. Much love to the Junior Gryphons.
Guelph Royals Baseball plays a vital role in our community. Just like other youth programs, the Guelph Royals provide a safe, engaging environment for kids to stay active and out of trouble. While I didn’t personally play with the Royals, I know firsthand the importance of having strong community sports programs that equip kids with the resources and confidence they need on the field and beyond. Supporting them means investing in our youth and fostering a love for the game that can last a lifetime.
High Tea for Hope, is an initiative by the Nightingale Foundation that provides a compassionate space for individuals grieving the loss of a loved one. This cause is deeply personal to me. The loss of a best friend at a young age led to the founding of Wisdom’s Jewellers, as a way to create meaningful, lasting memories for others and myself. High Tea for Hope ensures that no one has to face their grief alone, offering support, resources and community to those in need. This is vital. And we are proud to shout them out for the great work they do.
We support the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington because every child deserves to feel confident, cared for, and secure. Life can be hard—but with support, opportunity can shine through. This organization gives kids access to food, education, and life-enriching programs, helping build brighter futures right here in our community.
